Intradiem named "Most Caring Company" by Atlanta radio station
Local radio station 104.7 “The Fish” recognizes company’s community service program
Atlanta, GA (April 25, 2013) – Intradiem, the leading provider of intraday management solutions, announces its recognition as “Atlanta’s Most Caring Company” by local radio station, 104.7 “The Fish.”
The company was nominated by Dana Callihan, a success manager with Intradiem, who called the radio station morning show to submit the company as a candidate for the category.
“I heard the announcement and felt our company and CEO’s commitment to community service truly demonstrates the spirit of a ‘most caring company’ and wanted to share our story with the community,” said Callihan.
Intradiem’s formal community service program offers every employee five paid days to participate in any community service project they select. Matt McConnell, Intradiem’s CEO, implemented this company-wide benefit to allow employees to work on projects that are meaningful to them without having to use vacation days. The Fish radio host, Taylor Scott commented that she had “never heard of something this extraordinary.”
“Working together to serve our community is the heart of our company’s culture,” said McConnell. “Hearing that The Fish selected us as Atlanta’s most caring company makes me proud to lead such a great group of caring individuals. Because of the positive feedback we have received from our employees, I would challenge other leaders to develop a similar program for their employees. Not only will you be giving back to the community, you’ll create a rich corporate environment where employees thrive and work hard for your organization.”
The company regularly provides opportunities to work on organized community service projects by sponsoringServe@Work projects through High Tech Ministries, a non-profit group that leads technology professionals in Atlanta into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. These projects take place twice a year and each project spans a three day period.
Recent service projects that Intradiem has sponsored and participated in include revamping and beautifying a home for Sheltering Grace and renovating a neighborhood thrift store, coffee shop, playground and surrounding grounds for FCS Ministries. Intradiem also partners with MUST Ministries to serve quarterly lunches to families in crisis and holds quarterly resume building workshops for the organization’s residents.
Intradiem’s next Serve@Work project will take place May 7-9, 2013 at FCS Ministries.
